I have more than 10 years of applied research experience in the field of aquaculture nutrition and feeding. I have been involved in Asian aquaculture industry (marine fish in Japan and freshwater organisms in China) and Latin American applied research & fish culture related industry. During my graduate studies, I acquired wide experience working with growth promoting and immune stimulant additives supplemented in aqua-feeds. I obtained a wide experience working in R&D studies (yeast, antioxidants, vitamins, proteolytic enzymes and SSF plant meals). I obtained a significant experience “in site” feeding tests with environmentally friendly aqua-feeds in marine fish (RAS and floating cages in the sea). My last R&D study has been targeted on effects as prebiotic of a Biopolymer supplemented in aqua-feeds. My research has been focused in commercially valued species: Tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus), Rainbow Trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss), Atlantic Salmon (Salmo salar), Coho Salmon (Oncorhynchus Kisutch), Cobia (Rachycentron canadum) and Grouper (Epinephelus marginatus). I have been polishing my experience in México, China, Japan, Chile and Brazil.
