My interest is to evaluate environmental factors, dendrometric variables, and ecological components and indicators at the population and community levels to understand how these influence the germination, growth, acclimatization, and adaptability of forest species due to climate variability. I also delve into genetic studies to analyze how traits of interest are inherited in forest species, which allows us to understand their adaptive potential. My goal is to generate information that contributes to decision-making for the sustainable management of resources and to reduce the causes and effects of climate change.
