PALACIOS HINESTROZA, HASBLEIDY

Professor and researcher at the University of Guadalajara, affiliated with the Department of Basic Sciences at the University Center of Tlajomulco (CUTlajomulco), Mexico. She is a National Researcher Level I of the Mexican National System of Researchers (SNII-SECIHTI). She holds a B.Sc. in Agroforestry Engineering from the Technological University of Chocó (Colombia), an M.Sc. in Forest Products Science, and a Ph.D. in Water and Energy from the University of Guadalajara. She also completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Center for Research and Assistance in Technology and Design of the State of Jalisco (CIATEJ), focusing on the sustainable valorization of agroforestry residues. Her research interests include biomaterials, bacterial cellulose, nanostructured materials, water treatment, agro-industrial waste valorization, bioeconomy, circular economy, and environmental biotechnology, with an emphasis on developing sustainable solutions for water, energy, and agri-food applications.
