Was born in Huimanguillo, Tabasco, Mexico on November 7, 1974. Zootecnist Veterinary Doctor (1992 to 1997) from the Universidad Juárez Autónoma de Tabasco. Masters (2000-2002) and Ph.D. (2004-2006) in Animal Production with major subject in Reproduction and Animal Genetics in the Faculty of Zootechnics of the Autonomous University of Chihuahua. Postdoctoral fellow (2010-2011) in the Molecular Genetics laboratory, Department of Genetics and Biostatistics of the FMVZ of the National Autonomous University of Mexico. Advisor, extension agent and provider of professional services to producers of cattle and sheep systems in the state of Tabasco. Current member of the National System of Researchers level 1. From 2007 to date, he is a Full Professor Researcher teaching the courses of Applied Animal Reproduction and Genetic Improvement in the educational program of Veterinary Zootechnician and actually is head of Agricultural Science doctoral program in the Academic Division of Agricultural Sciences of the UJAT. He was also, head of the Academic Group Production of Ruminants (UJAT-CA-221) and the Laboratory of Reproduction and Animal Genetics.
