I am working on the effects of probiotics, prebiotics and symbiotics on the metabolism, microbiota and immune response of fish, mollusks and shrimp. Our methodologies include biochemical and molecular approaches such as fluorescent enzymology, functional genomics (qRT-PCR) and transcriptomics (NGS and microarrays), and microbiome analysis.
