Dr. Martin Peralta Gil is currently a research professor at the Escuela Superior de Apan, UAEH, developing his line of research in comparative genomics and functional genomics of prokaryotes. He graduated in 2004 from a PhD program focused on biochemical sciences at National Autonomous University of Mexico.
His work experience includes experimental design for genomics applications like differential genetic expression analysis and comparative sequence analysis. He did a postdoctoral training with databases, such as RegulonDB and EcoCyc, at the Genomic Sciences Center, UNAM and Stanford Research Institute International, respectively.
In 2011, he was a member of the research group awarded with the National Prize of Sciences and Arts: in the category of Physical-Mathematical and Natural Sciences. From 2011 to 2014, he was recognized by CCyTEM (Council of Science and Technology of the State of Morelos) as Honorary Researcher of the State of Morelos.
