I am Evolutionary Biologist of Parasites, i work with molecular data and geographical distribution, with a particular focus on helminth parasites of fauna of wildlife.

My research involves using molecular tools, distributional data and information on the type of parasitic interactions and their ecological relationships to understand the mechanisms, processes and patterns of evolution of the aforementioned host-parasite association. I am particularly interested in combining population genetics and phylogeography with morphological phylogenetics and cophylogenetic analyses to understand how the geographical areas and phylogentic relationships between and among hosts and parasites promote population differentiation and lineage divergence.
