He was born in 1988 in Mexico City. Bachelor's degree in Biology, with honors, from the Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). Master and PhD of Science in Infectomics and Molecular Pathogenesis from the Center for Research and Advanced Studies of the National Polytechnic Institute (CINVESTAV-IPN).
He is focused on virology and health sciences, specifically on drugs and therapies to treat emerging viral diseases. He has scientific publications in prestigious international journals.
