My principal interest is devoted to studying the histological and histopathological development of aquatic organisms, mainly fishes, exposed to pollutants and environmental stressors. However, I do not limit my knowledge just to aquatic organisms. Currently, I study the molecular expression, biochemical responses, and cellular aberrations in vegetable models, followed by an assessment of environmental pollutants exposure. I aim to combine different biomarkers of integrative form to establish a response and correlation between toxicity and detoxification mechanisms with the pollutants exposure.
