My main research interests focus on characterizing the morphological and ethological variability in beetles, mainly related to acoustic communication, and evaluating the factors that cause it (geographic distribution, environmental preferences, and evolutionary history). Therefore, I use a multidisciplinary approach, combining disciplines like bioacoustics, geometric morphometry, species distribution models, ecological niche models, and phylogenetic comparative methods.
