Soy Profesora Investigadora de la Facultad de Ciencias en la Universidad Autónoma de Baja California en Ensenada, B. C., Mèxico. Mi principal interés es investigar el vínculo ente la contaminación ambiental y los mecanismos de genotoxicidad y citotoxicidad que subyacen a la inestabilidad genómica en los seres vivos, principalmente en humanos, con base en modelo sencillos y de bajo costo. Mis investigaciones se basan en la evaluación de inestabilidad genómica por exposición a diferentes tóxicos ambientales incluidos los nanomateriales Tengo una experiencia de más de 35 años en la docencia y un poco más de 20 años en investigación.
