I am Mexican. I hold a BSc. in Eng. In Agroecology from Chapingo University, Mexico, and a PhD in Entomology from UC Riverside, USA. Since my PhD graduation in 2011, I work at CNRCB in Mexico and my research focus on developing rearing protocols for beneficial insects using an agroecological approach (=low-cost materials, inexpensive installations, and simple procedures). This agroecological focus is intended for enabling rural farmers to adopt these rearing protocols. My scientific production, both as main author or co-author, is 23 JCR articles, 1 book chapter, 2 rearing handbooks and 32 non-JCR papers.
