Professor and Researcher in Medicine and Health Sciences Department of the University of Sonora since 2011. Master's and Doctorate in Sciences with specialization in Cell Biology by the CINVESTAV-IPN. Experience in two postdoctoral positions working on the effects of dietary fatty acids on breast cancer cells behavior and another studying bacterial cell physiology and bioprocesses (2009-2011). The current research interest is the cellular mechanisms involved in developing endothelium damage present in metabolic and inflammatory diseases.
