My research focuses on the ecology of mollusks with ecological and economic importance, through a complementary approach between ecology, reproductive biology and fisheries biology; addressing studies on mollusk taxonomy, reproductive cycle, oocyte quality, growth and sexual reversal through histological and histochemical techniques with a qualitative and quantitative approach, and their relationship with environmental parameters.
