Julio Alberto García-Rodríguez was born in Ciudad Guzmán, Jalisco, México. He received the B.Sc. degree in electronic engineering from the Instituto Tecnológico de Ciudad Guzmán (ITCG), México, in 2010. The M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in electronic and computing sciences both from the Centro Universitario de Ciencias Exactas e Ingenierías (CUCEI) from Universidad de Guadalajara in 2012 and 2021, respectively.
His scientific interests are focused on mathematical modeling of physiological systems, robust control and their applications for blood glucose regulation in diabetes mellitus.
