PEREZ REYES, ILDEBRANDO

I was born in the south region of Mexico. I got a degree in biochemical engineering in 2005 with a thesis dissertation on bioconvection of gravitactic microorganisms. Since then, I decided to specialize on transport phenomena which is a topic of interest in chemical engineering. I devoted the next 6 years to study fluid mechanics from the point of view of theoretical fluid mechanics. In 2008 I got the Master Degree and in 2012 finally got my Ph. D. Degree.

As a result, I am an expert on theoretical fluid mechanics but transport phenomena problems are not difficult to approach. I have been making a very wide network by working on problems were mass and heat transfer appear as in food science and technology. In the present time I work on theory and experiments involving heat, mass and momentum transfer.

In particular, I work on hydrodynamic stability of newtonian and non newtonian fluids. This a very interesting subject that have permit me understand other areas like fluid visualization, food science and technology, mathematical modelling of chemcial processes, and many other filds involving physics and applied mathematics.
