She is associate professor at the Regional Center for Multidisciplinary Research of the National Autonomous University of Mexico, a faculty member at Economics Department at the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico, and a member of the National System of Researchers of the National Council of Humanities, Sciences, and Technologies of Mexico.
She has been a visiting professor at the "San Tiago Dantas" International Relations Graduate Program and the Institute of Public Policies and International Relations at the São Paulo State University "Júlio de Mesquita Filho", in São Paulo, Brazil; at the Institut Barcelona d'Estudis Internacionals (IBEI), Spain; and an invited speaker at the Green Economic Transformation in Latin America Program at the University of Oxford, England.
She is currently developing a research project with funding from UNAM, PAPIIT IN300223, titled 'Competitiveness or Complementarity? The Brazil-Mexico relationship in the Latin American regionalism.'
