Francisco R. Castillo-Soria received his M.Sc. in Telecommunications Engineering from IPN-ESIME, Mexico City, México, in 2004 and his Ph.D. in Electronics and Telecommunications from the CICESE Research Center, Ensenada, Mexico, in 2015. Since 2017, FRCS has been an associate professor at the Autonomous University of San Luis Potosí, S.L.P., México. His research interests include RIS-assisted MIMO systems, spatial/index modulation, multiuser detection, and media-based modulation.
