Juan Rodríguez Ramírez is a Professor of Engineering at the Instituto Politécnico Nacional (National Polytechnic Institute, IPN) of México. He received his Doctorate in Chemical Engineering from Intituto Tecnólogico de Celaya. He is member of the Sistema Nacional de Investigadores (SNI) of México. He is member of the International Advisory Panel on Drying and he has received the Best Poster Award in the 20th International Drying Symposium. His research interests includes the Science and Technology in Drying. His recent publications are related to the physic-chemical properties of dried materials and spray drying of agro-foods. He has over 50 peer reviewed journal and conference publications and one licensed patents. He has graduated more than 15 BEng, 22 MSc and three DSc.
