I'm neuroscientist, work in adult hippocampal neurogenesis since 2002. I studied psychology and did my PhD on biomedical sciences in the national university at my home country, México. To carry out my postdoc, I was honoured with the Alexander von Humboldt postdoctoral fellowship, which I did in Prof. Dr. Kempermann's group at the Center for Regenerative Therapies Dresden in Germany. Later on, I came back to my home country and worked in CINVESTAV, first as postdoc and later as guest profesor. I currently collaborate at the Laboratory of Neuroscience of the Universidad Iberoamericana, México.
