TEJEDA OCHOA, ARMANDO

Dr. Armando Tejeda Ochoa is a researcher and university professor specializing in materials science, advanced manufacturing, and engineering education. He holds a Ph.D. and an M.Sc. in Materials Science from the Centro de Investigación en Materiales Avanzados (CIMAV), as well as a bachelor’s degree in Materials Engineering. His research focuses on metallic biomaterials, porous titanium, hydroxyapatite coatings, mechanical alloying, severe plastic deformation, geopolymers, and the structural and microstructural characterization of advanced materials. He has also conducted research at Toyohashi University of Technology in Japan. Dr. Tejeda Ochoa is a member of Mexico’s National System of Researchers, Level I, and currently serves as Coordinator of the Mechatronics Engineering program at Universidad La Salle Chihuahua, where he combines research, teaching, academic leadership, and industry collaboration.
