I am Gabriela Hinojosa Ventura, now conducting postdoctoral research at the University of Guadalajara.
My educational history includes a degree in biochemical engineering from the Technological Institute of Morelia, obtained between 2004 and 2010. I acquired a master's degree in chemical engineering at the Michoacan University of San Nicolás de Hidalgo (2010-2012). I completed my PhD in Science in Biotechnological Processes at the University of Guadalajara from 2014 to 2018. I finished a post-doctorate at the Autonomous University of Morelos from 2019 to 2020.
My areas of expertise encompass biotechnology and bioengineering of fermentations utilizing microbes and/or plants to derive active substances for commercial, pharmaceutical, and medicinal purposes. I am interested in the creation of nanomedicines utilizing microfluidic devices for biomedical applications.
